Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Reception Host in Charlotte, NC. The role offers flexible, anchored shifts with opportunities to pick up additional shifts through our platform, and a pay rate of $23.93 per hour.

Qualifications

At least one year of security-related experience is required.
A college degree is required.
Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Provide a professional, welcoming presence at the front desk of a financial institution while delivering customer service to visitors, employees, and customers.
Monitor access to the location by verifying visitor credentials, following site-specific entry procedures, and directing guests to appropriate personnel or areas.
Maintain visitor records, issue and collect access credentials as authorized, and communicate access concerns to appropriate site contacts.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner in accordance with site-specific procedures and emergency response protocols.
Observe front-desk activity and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, maintenance concerns, and other security-related issues to appropriate personnel.
