Allied Universal is hiring a Security Professional Flex Officer for the Hainesport, NJ area. This part-time role requires the ability to walk long distances, computer proficiency, and a professional demeanor.

The position uses our shift-pickup platform to claim open shifts, offering flexibility to build a schedule around availability. The pay rate is $18.50 per hour, with a focus on delivering safe, high-quality service across diverse sites including healthcare, education, and finance.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years verifiable experience.
• Active background check per federal/state/local laws; background investigations required.
• Must be able to pass drug screen where permitted by law.
• No prior experience required.
• Must be at least 18 years old (21 if armed).

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or unauthorized persons.
• Warn violators of rule infractions; control entry points and monitor entrances/exits.
• Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain logs.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors courteously and professionally.
• Make emergency notifications as necessary under site Post Orders.
