Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Professional Flex Officer to serve clients across Healthcare, Education, Finance, and more. Use our shift-pickup platform to claim shifts that fit your schedule and gain site experience across industries.

You may work irregular shifts with little notice. Training includes paid orientation, and the role offers growth opportunities within the world’s leading global security company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Licensing requirements vary by state and may be required before employment.
• Valid driver’s license if operating a company or customer vehicle.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.
• No prior security experience required.
• Be at least 18 years of age (21 if armed in some states).
• Ability to operate radio/console equipment.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Reliability and adaptability to different post assignments.
• Ability to speak multiple languages preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Monitor for irregular conditions that may pose security or safety risks.
• Sound alarms or summon police or fire department as needed.
• Warn violators of rules and entry restrictions.
• Control entry points and monitor entrances and exits.
• Observe departing personnel to prevent theft.
• Investigate incidents and maintain written logs.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors professionally.
• Make emergency notifications according to site orders.
