Qualifications

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while following security procedures.
• Regular and random patrols to identify unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Maintain logs and reports of observations, incidents, and patrols.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and emergencies, notifying appropriate contacts.
• Follow site procedures for access control and credential verification.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors at a technology and research location while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, including building interiors, exterior areas, parking locations, and perimeter areas, to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate logs and reports.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities clearly and promptly, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.
