Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Driver Patrol in New Albany, OH to protect clients across technology data centers with professional service, integrity, and teamwork. You will perform driving and on-foot patrols, monitor access points, verify credentials, and respond calmly to incidents.

This part-time role offers flexible day schedules, on-going training, and opportunities for advancement within a national security leader.

Qualifications

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
A valid driver’s license is required per policy.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
Background check and drug screening will be conducted.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and vendors while enforcing site procedures.
Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor entry, and report unusual activity.
Conduct regular patrols of the facility, perimeter, and parking areas to deter unauthorized activity.
Respond to incidents calmly, following emergency protocols and reporting accordingly.
Complete accurate activity reports and shift communications per site requirements.
