Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public while carrying out site‑specific security procedures and emergency response activities at government facilities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, public areas, parking locations, and perimeters.
• Respond to incidents and inquiries in a calm, professional manner following post orders and escalation procedures.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor activity per site requirements, documenting security observations and incidents.
• Prepare accurate reports and communicate security information to appropriate personnel and leadership as needed.
