Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Criminal background check as part of employment process.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to shoppers, tenants, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the retail property, including common areas and parking.
• Respond to incidents, concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally per site procedures.
• Monitor access points and report maintenance concerns, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Assist with directing visitors, providing information, and supporting a welcoming environment while communicating with staff and responders.
