Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Customer Service Patrol Driver at a Liverpool, NY aerospace and defense location. You will provide exceptional customer service, monitor access points, and conduct patrols while supporting site operations.

The role requires an active DoD Secret Clearance, a valid driver’s license, and a high school diploma or equivalent. A background check and drug screen are part of employment, with licensing as needed.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies at an aerospace and defense business location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain required logs, and report access concerns according to established procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response activities and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, business areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.
• Complete accurate incident reports, daily activity reports, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.
