Job summary

Allied Universal in Commerce City, CO is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer to join our logistics and distribution site. You will provide customer service, manage access control, verify credentials, and help deter incidents through routine patrols.

The position offers flexible shifts, a driver’s license requirement for driving duties, and access to our shift-claim platform with opportunities for growth and perks.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license where applicable.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Loss prevention experience preferred.
• Minimum age: 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Applicants subject to background investigation by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply per state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by enforcing site-specific access control policies.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor/contractor records, and control entry/exit as required.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and report observations to site contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Document daily activities and incidents using required logs and reporting tools.
