Job summary

Allied Universal, Milpitas, CA, is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Dispatch Coordinator to coordinate communications, monitor access, and support patrol operations at a logistics site. This role offers a flexible Part Time schedule and a $30.00 hourly pay rate.

The successful candidate will have at least 2 years of security experience, supervisory exposure, and a high school diploma. Strong customer service, access control, and typing 40 wpm are preferred, with background checks and drug

Qualifications

• 2 years of security-related experience.
• Supervisory experience.
• Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor dispatch communications, receive and document calls, and coordinate the timely routing of security-related personnel and resources across the location.
• Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident records, visitor information, and shift activity reports in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating relevant information to appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of distribution areas, loading docks, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
