Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Customer Service Patrol in Albuquerque, NM. This role provides reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility to earn more by picking up additional shifts when available.

Pay rate: $18.00 / Hour. Schedule: DayTime Sun 04:15 PM - 10:15 PM. Fixed-Shift Commitment and ability to claim extra shifts through our scheduling platform help you build income and experience across sites.

Qualifications

Customer service experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to customers, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail store, surrounding property, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas; assist with access control, receipt-check procedures when assigned, and observation of activity related to loss prevention.
Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and promptly; communicate relevant information to store leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
