Job summary

Allied Universal in Rome, GA is seeking a part-time Security Officer Credential Validation Driver to support a manufacturing and industrial location. You will manage site entry points, verify credentials, monitor access, and help deter incidents while delivering excellent customer service.

This role requires a valid driver’s license, a high school diploma or equivalent, and eligibility for a background check and drug screen. Schedule varies with day and night shifts.

Qualifications

• A valid driver's license is required per policy.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws and may be required.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out access-control procedures and site policies.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, issue visitor badges, maintain logs, and direct authorized personnel and deliveries.
• Respond to access-control incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and according to escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing areas, access points, parking areas, and facility perimeter.
• Document incidents and access activity and communicate information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
