Job summary

The position requires DISS experience and an active Secret clearance, with responsibilities including visitor control, reporting, and complying with NISPOM requirements. The schedule is Monday and Wednesday, 0800-1630, with potential travel to gain access to work areas. The incumbent must be a U.S. citizen and able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
• Must have a current Secret clearance.
• Experience with DISS required.
• Criminal, credit and driving records checks must be cleared.
• Ability to prepare detailed written reports and fill out forms.
• Write and speak clearly and effectively in English.
• Be fully computer literate with computer hardware.
• Climb 8 or more flights of stairs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain annual refresher briefing records.
• Review and approve pre/post foreign travel reports.
• Check visitors in and issue appropriate visitor badges.
• Submit new hire packets for clearances.
• Maintain location and cost code metrics.
• Complete STEPP training for all security topics.
• Maintain Security Binders.
• Conduct bag inspections for the facility in accordance with NISPOM regulations.
• Patrol the suite including SCIF to ensure secured.
• Coordinating meetings.
• Maintain safety equipment.
• Manage the alarm system.
• Answering front desk calls.
