Job summary

Allied Universal in Austell, GA is seeking a part-time Security Officer (Visitor Authorization). You will monitor entry points, verify access, and deliver excellent customer service at a busy logistics and distribution site. As an Access Control Officer, you will support a welcoming environment and uphold site procedures.

Position Type: Part Time. Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour. Schedule: Mon 3:30 PM–12:00 AM, Sat 6:00 AM–2:00 PM, Sun 11:00 AM–9:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Customer service orientation and professional demeanor in security environments.
• Ability to follow site procedures for access control and visitor management.
• Strong communication and teamwork to support a welcoming environment.
• Willingness to undergo background checks and screening as required.
• Legal age requirements and state/licensing prerequisites as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors per site policies.
• Control access by verifying authorization and maintaining visitor records.
• Monitor entry points and report concerns to management and leadership.
• Respond calmly to incidents following established procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols and document observations of security conditions.
