Job summary

Securitas, Inc. in Grand Island, NE is seeking a Part Time Security professional to maintain a safe environment for clients. You will monitor premises, control access, and patrol multiple locations, enforcing site regulations for personnel, visitors, and areas.

The role requires strong customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. On-site duties include rounds, reporting issues, and cooperating with shipping/receiving as needed.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old and eligible to work.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Excellent customer service and writing skills.
• Must be able to work independently and stay calm.
• Diver certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or suspicious activity.
• Ensure post orders are followed and rounds completed.
• Provide customer service to employees and guests.
• Must call the corporate office every 2 hours to check-in.
• Remote monitor CCTV entries/exits; carry out site tasks.

Primary Location: Grand Island, NE

Wage:$19.00/HR

Our Security helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order whileenforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

What You Can Expect:

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to theclient’s employees and guests.
• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct tours of the property.
• Must call the corporate office every 2 hours to check-in.
• Communicate with shipping / receiving with oncoming trucks.
• Check identification and verify bill of lading paperwork.
• Inform all guests and visitors of site safety rules.
• Remote monitor trucks (CCTV) entering / exiting the site.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Basic Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• Strong communication skills needed.
• Excellent writing skills needed.
• Must be diver certified.
