Emergency and Critical Care Veterinary Technician - Part time

Location: Buzzards Bay, MA

We are seeking an experienced veterinary nurse for a part-time Emergency and Critical Care Veterinary Technician position at Cape Cod Veterinary Specialists in Buzzards Bay, MA. Responsibilities include:

• Perform emergency triage, obtain vitals, and document interactions using EMRs.
• Assist in stabilizing critically ill patients.
• Perform medical procedures such as venipuncture, IV placement, and diagnostic imaging.
• Assist clinicians with procedures including induction, monitoring, and recovery.
• Provide advanced nursing care with compassion and technical skill.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to advocate and communicate effectively.

Qualifications:

• Current CVT, LVT, or RVT license or ability to obtain within six months.
• VTS (ECC) preferred or desire to earn specialization.
• RECOVER certification preferred.

Experience:

• Minimum of two years of veterinary ECC experience.
• Experience in anesthesia and emergency procedures.
