Job summary

Saddleback Gear Company is seeking certified ski/ride instructors for the 2026/2027 season at Rangeley, Maine. This part-time seasonal role involves delivering high-quality ski and snowboard instruction to groups and individuals, while providing excellent guest service in a safe, fun environment.

Interviews begin mid-late summer. You will work with the Saddleback Ski School, adhere to safety manuals, complete required training, and demonstrate enthusiasm for teaching.

Qualifications

• High level intermediate to expert skiing and snowboarding
• Excellent communication and guest service skills
• Must work well in a team
• Must be able to work holidays and weekends
• PSIA/AASI Level 1 certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Pass background check before working with children
• Organize and conduct both group and private lessons for children and adults
• Follow Saddleback safety and ski school policies
• Deliver outstanding customer service as a Saddleback ambassador
• Attend safety training sessions and complete required paperwork
• Be on time and prepared for lessons; adapt to student level and terrain
