Part-Time Seasonal Mosquito Spray Truck Driver

VDCI is hiring a Part-Time Seasonal Mosquito Spray Truck Driver in Pelahatchie, MS.

Job Overview

Our drivers operate mosquito control spray trucks to prevent disease spread through mosquito management, including surveillance and large-scale spraying.

Compensation & Schedule

• Pay rate: $10.50 - $11.50 per hour
• Schedule: Sundown to completion, 5-7 days/week

Responsibilities

• Spray assigned zones safely and effectively
• Use GPS equipment and report malfunctions
• Record data accurately
• Handle chemicals per safety guidelines
• Follow safety procedures and PPE use
• Operate equipment safely
• Support safety policies
• Work outdoors in various conditions
• Lift items up to 50 pounds
• Operate vehicles and equipment safely

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent experience
• Pass background check
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Good communication and basic math skills
• Maintain required licenses/certificates
