Job summary

FAO Schwarz is seeking a Seasonal Sales Associate in New York for part-time hours (20-29 per week). You will engage guests with FAO Schwarz’s selling vision, build rapport, demonstrate product knowledge, and process transactions at the POS.

You’ll also maintain floor layout and assist with stock tasks in a fast-paced premium retail environment. The role requires lifting up to 25 pounds and standing for long periods, with flexible availability across days, evenings, and weekends.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a fast-paced premium retail or experience-based environment.
• Capable of lifting up to 25 pounds and bending, twisting, and standing for long periods.
• Flexible availability across days, evenings, and weekends.
• Love of the FAO brand.

Responsibilities

• Engage and delight guests using the FAO Schwarz selling vision.
• Build authentic connections and manage multiple guests during their visit.
• Demonstrate product knowledge and suggest key items based on guest needs.
• Handle POS transactions accurately and adhere to policies.
• Maintain store layout and planograms on a daily basis.
• Support with stock refilling and other product tasks as needed.
