Job summary

FAO Schwarz in New York is hiring a Seasonal Visual Merchandising Associate for the holiday season. This part-time role (20–29 hours weekly) supports the Global Visual Director by executing store standards and eye-catching displays that wow guests.

You will place products, set vitrines, update signage, and assist the Visual Team with daily tasks while collaborating with Operations to ensure accurate SKUs on the floor.

Qualifications

• 1+ years’ experience in a Visual or Merchandising role within a fast-paced premium retail or experience-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly customer service and direct guests to specialists when needed.
• Create engaging product placements and displays to excite guests.
• Ensure clear signage for pricing, sales, and events across the store.
• Assist Visual team with daily merchandising tasks and planogram execution.
• Collaborate with Operations to represent SKUs on the selling floor.
• Set up new window and in-store displays and maintain merchandising standards.
• Analyze display effectiveness to drive revenue and guest experience.
