Job summary

The Educational Service Center of Central Ohio is looking for a part-time Van Driver in Columbus, Ohio. Responsibilities include transporting students safely to and from school and assisting them with vehicle entry and exit. Candidates must be at least 21 years old with a valid Ohio driver’s license and a clean driving record.

Successful applicants should demonstrate a mature disposition and the ability to work closely with students with disabilities. Pre-employment drug tests and clearance checks are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age required with a valid Ohio driver’s license.
• Successful completion of driver record checks showing less than 6 points.
• Clear FBI & State criminal record check needed.

Responsibilities

• Transport students safely to and from school-related activities.
• Assist students in and out of the van securely.
• Perform daily pre-trip inspection of the school van.
