Job summary

Tri County Transportation Inc. is seeking a part-time School Van Driver to transport students on a fixed morning and afternoon route in the Clymer, PA area. Training is provided and a valid license with a clean driving record is required.

The role involves pre-trip inspections, DOT compliance, and supervising student safety. The schedule typically runs Monday through Friday during school hours, with some optional summer work and separate activity pay for field trips.

Qualifications

• A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• To be 18 or older.
• To be dependable about time and comfortable managing students.
• To pass an MVR, background check, clearances, a DOT physical and a drug screening.
• No CDL and no previous experience required. Paid training.

Responsibilities

• Drive a van on a set route, morning and afternoon, carrying students to and from school.
• Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure vehicle DOT compliance.
• Manage student behavior safely.
• Split shift with morning 4.5 hours paid; occasional field trips paid at a separate activity rate.
