Job summary

Tri County Transportation is seeking a School Van Driver in Carrolltown, PA. The part-time position covers morning and afternoon routes, driving a van to shuttle students to and from school, with pre-trip inspections and DOT compliance kept in check.

Morning work typically 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and afternoon 1:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., about 4.5 hours paid daily. Summer work is available; training is provided with no CDL or prior experience required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Dependable with good time management.
• Able to pass MVR, background checks, clearances, a DOT physical, and drug screening.
• No CDL or prior driving experience required; paid training provided.

Responsibilities

• Drive a van on a set route in morning and afternoon.
• Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain DOT compliance.
• Monitor student behavior and ensure safety.
• Split shift with about 4.5 hours of paid time per day.
• Field trips/sports runs are optional and paid at a separate activity rate.
