First Student, Inc. is seeking part-time School Van Drivers in Tilton, NH to safely transport students daily. The role includes morning pickup, afternoon return, and potential field trips, with no nights, weekends, or summers required.

Training is provided, and drivers can progress into leadership roles across over 540 locations in the U.S. & Canada. Benefits include insurance options and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver’s license (Class B) for at least 3 years.
• DOT drug testing required for safety-sensitive position.
• English proficiency required for communications.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school and activities.
• Supervise boarding/unloading; assist with seatbelts and mobility aids.
• Maintain order on the bus and ensure safety.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Report mechanical issues and keep bus clean.
• Follow traffic laws and company safety standards.
• Communicate with parents, school staff, and dispatch about delays.
• Demonstrate leadership and customer service skills.
