Job summary

Centennial School District is seeking a Pupil Transportation Van/Type 10 Vehicle Driver to transport students to and from school and related activities from the Service Center—Transportation Department in Portland, OR. The role currently offers a 6am/7am start with a split shift, 4–8 hours per day, July-June calendar, and an hourly rate of $21.29 to $29.47.

Immediate start date; benefits include PERS and insurance options. Training is provided; paid leave and holiday pay are included.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Criminal Justice Fingerprint Clearance required.
• Possession of, or ability to obtain licenses for operating a van or Type 10 vehicle.
• Ability to obtain first aid and CPR cards.

Responsibilities

• Drive a Pupil Transportation Van/Type 10 vehicle on assigned routes.
• Transport students to and from school and school activities.
• Maintain safe discipline and student management on routes.
• Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
