Job summary

Parkrose School District is seeking a part-time School Bus Driver to transport students on scheduled routes. Starting wage ranges from $27.04 to $36.59 per hour, DOE, with 20–22.6 hours weekly and 176 days per year. Benefits include health insurance and retirement contributions.

The role requires valid CDL, bus certificate, First Aid/CPR, and DOT drug testing compliance. Training is provided and bilingual candidates are a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience is preferred but training is provided.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Regular attendance is required.
• Evidence of insurability is required.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Valid CDL is required.
• School Bus Driver certificate is required.
• Current First Aid/CPR certification.
• Subject to DOT random drug testing.
• Multicultural competency preferred.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate school buses safely on scheduled routes.
• Ensure student safety during loading/unloading.
• Perform pre/post trip inspections.
• Report incidents and defects per policy.
• Maintain cleanliness of vehicles.
• Complete required reports and forms.
