Job summary

Soliant is seeking a School Speech Language Pathologist for the Chicago, IL area to support middle and high school students. This contract position runs through the end of the current school year and into the 26/27 school year, with an ASAP start.

Candidates must be bilingual in Spanish and hold a valid IL SLP license. The role includes collaboration with teachers and staff, creating IEP-driven therapy plans, and documenting services in accordance with state regulations.

School Speech Language Pathologist | Chicago, IL area:

SLP needed to complete the current school year and next school year serving students. This contract position, located in the Chicago, IL area, offers the opportunity to support students in a specialized educational setting with a focus on occupational therapy services.

Start Date: ASAP

End Date: End of school year

Will be the same for the 26/27 school year

Must be Bilingual in Spanish

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct occupational therapy services tailored to the needs of middle/high school students as well as one adult learner within a self-contained classroom.
• Collaborate with educational and support staff to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans to meet evolving needs.
• Document all services and maintain compliance with school policies and state regulations.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to support student success.

Required Qualifications

• Valid SLP license applicable in IL.
• Experience working with school-aged children, preferably middle and high school students.
• Familiarity with self-contained educational programs and individualized educational plans (IEPs).
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with students, families, and school staff.
• Ability to begin work immediately and commit to the assignment through June 2026.

This position offers hands-on experience in a focused school environment, with the chance to positively impact student development.

Compensation for this position ranges from $41.40 to $61.40. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
