Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing seeks a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist for a part-time contract at a middle school near Chicago. You’ll work with the onsite SLP to support students with mild to moderate needs, delivering therapy, evaluations, and progress monitoring for a caseload of 15–20.

The assignment runs August 19 through May 28, 2–3 days per week (13–19.5 hours). Expect collaboration with teachers, families, and support staff, district onboarding, and fingerprinting requirements.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• PEL with LBS 1 endorsement.
• Experience or interest in middle school students.
• School-based or educational settings experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to complete district fingerprinting before start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language therapy and progress monitoring for a caseload of 15–20 students.
• Conduct evaluations and document progress over time.

Role Details:

• Contract position running from August 19th through May 28th
• Work 2-3 days per week (13-19.5 hours weekly)
• Serve a single middle school campus with a caseload of 15-20 students
• Address a range of mild to moderate communication needs in a supportive environment
• Contribute to ongoing therapy, evaluations, and progress monitoring
• Consult and collaborate with classroom teachers, families, and support staff
• District-provided supervision and resources to help ensure professional success
