The role is local contract with 16 hours per week and approximately 3 hours of direct student services weekly, with time for IEP development and meetings.

Qualifications

• PEL with Illinois School Social Worker Endorsement required.
• Experience developing measurable IEP goals.
• Knowledge of IDEA, Section 504, Illinois School Code, and ISBE special education requirements

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and/or small group social work services per IEPs.
• Support students' social-emotional, behavioral, and mental health needs.
• Develop measurable IEP goals and monitor progress.
• Complete progress reports and required documentation.
• Attend IEP-related meetings and collaborate with educators and families.
• Provide crisis intervention and connect families with community resources.
