Job summary

ESC of Lake Erie West in Toledo, Ohio is seeking a part-time Speech Language Pathologist (two days per week) to serve two schools. The role involves evaluating and remediating speech or language disorders for K-12 students and collaborating with educators and families.

The SLP will work as part of a team to support students with communication disabilities across two locations, with a total of 14 hours per week. Immediate start is available.

Qualifications

• Ohio Speech Language Pathologist Board License is required.
• Ohio State Board of Education Speech Language Pathologist registration is required.
• Prior experience working in a school setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and remediate speech and language disorders in students.
• Collaborate with teachers and related staff to support students with communication needs.
• Plan and implement educationally relevant therapy goals.
• Provide language and speech therapy, auditory training, and augmentative communication training.
• Maintain student records and report progress to families and school staff.
• Coordinate reassessment of students and adjust interventions as needed.
