Job summary

Grand Forks Public Schools seeks a part-time bus driver for the Career Impact Academy route in Grand Forks, ND. The position runs nine months during the academic year, with split hours from 9:30am to 12:30pm, Monday through Friday when school is in session.

You will transport students, enforce safety rules, and respond to emergencies with training in First Aid and CPR/Choking. Must have a valid driver’s license, be 18+, maintain a clean driving record, and be willing to develop positive

• Be 18 years of age or older with a clean driving record.
• Interest to develop skills in relating to children, parents and staff in a positive manner.

Responsibilities

• Check the vehicle each day for safety and maintenance.
• Transport students attending the Career Impact Academy to/from Red River HS.
• Insure that the students are safely seated before departing.
• Enforce vehicle policies and rules with student(s).
• Willingness to be trained in First Aid and CPR/Choking.
• Complete other duties as assigned by supervisor.
