Job summary

Colonial Middle School is seeking a part-time security guard to help maintain safety for students, staff, and visitors at Colonial Middle School in Plymouth Meeting, PA. The role runs Monday through Friday from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with immediate availability.

You will work under the District Safety Officer and building administrator, interacting with students and supporting campus security during events and daily activities.

Qualifications

• Part-time security guard position, hours 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday to Friday.
• Comfort working with adolescent students and school staff.

Responsibilities

• Preserve safety, health and welfare of students, staff and visitors in the school building.
• Prevent theft and vandalism of district properties while on site.
• Coordinate with the District Safety Officer and building principal for security operations.
• Attend special events and assist during major incidents as directed by district leadership.
• Work with local law enforcement as needed and support day-to-day security tasks.
