Job summary

KRE Security seeks a Part-Time Afterschool Security Officer to join our Lehigh Valley team. The role runs Wednesday to Friday, 2:45 PM–6:45 PM, with a permanent position following the academic school calendar.

You will help maintain a safe, welcoming environment during afterschool hours and engage positively with students, families, staff and visitors. The ideal candidate is reliable, professional, and capable of working outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Complete Pennsylvania mandated training for School Security Officers.
• Maintain required certifications and trainings during employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide security and a welcoming presence for students, families, staff and visitors.
• Conduct interior and exterior patrols according to schedules.
• Monitor entrances, exits, hallways and common areas.
• Respond to safety concerns and incidents professionally.
• Follow site orders and client requirements; complete activity logs.
