Job summary

HealthPRO Pediatrics, a division of HealthPro Heritage, is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse for a school-based role in Pasco County, FL. This 35-hour/week position runs Monday through Friday with a W2 employer offering medical, dental, vision, PTO, and 401K benefits.

The RN will collaborate with school staff and families to support students’ health through nursing services and IEP-related activities, while maintaining accurate documentation and compliance with district policies.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice in the state of residence/state of placement.
• Experience working with culturally diverse families is preferred.
• Commitment to ongoing continuing education and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Consult and collaborate with School staff and families regarding students’ health and wellness.
• Assist in the IEP process by developing present levels of performance, goals, and treatment recommendations for nursing services.
• Provide nursing services per IEP with best practices.
• Maintain required district documentation and ASHA code of ethics (daily notes, monthly summaries, annual IEPs).
