Qualifications

• Must have an entry-level BS in physical therapy.
• Current NJ Physical Therapist license is required.
• NJ School certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provides PT assessments and treatments per APTA, NJ statutes, IEPs, HIPAA, and Bancroft policies.
• Develops therapy plans based on student needs and IPP/IEP data.
• Reviews records, administers tests, observes in classrooms, and makes service recommendations.
• Delivers direct and consultative PT services to students, families, staff in the school setting.
• Assists in classroom design and may provide instruction to support goals.
• Promotes independence and goal attainment for each student.
• Plans session frequency and duration to meet individual needs and mandates.
• Recommends adaptive equipment and environmental arrangements to support learning.
