Job summary

Care Options for Kids is seeking a School-Based Physical Therapist to provide coordinated therapy to school‑aged children. You will plan, implement, and evaluate interventions to support fine motor and sensory integration skills and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.

This is a part‑time, on‑site position with hours 7:30am–3:30pm, 2 days per week, serving Pre-K through 6th grade through January 2027. Compensation is $60/hour with a $3,000 sign‑on bonus, plus standard benefits.

Qualifications

• Masters or PhD in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current Active State License to practice Physical Therapy in New Jersey.
• Pediatric focus and/or School-Based experience preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide coordinated physical therapy to school-aged children.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate students to improve fine motor and sensory integration skills.

• $60/hour - $3,000 Sign On Bonus
• Part-Time - 7:30am-3:30pm, 2 days/week
• Pre-Kindergarten to 6th Grade
• Through January 2027

Position Summary: The position of School-Based Physical Therapist provides coordinated physical therapy to school-aged children. They plan, implement, and evaluate students to provide appropriate fine motor and/or sensory integration skills. They evaluate occupational roles and physical performance of students with physical and/or cognitive impairments. They provide interventions based on student deficits and they collaborate with the interdisciplinary team.

Education/License/Certification:

• Masters, or PhD in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution of higher education
