Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a part-time, contract-based occupational therapist to support students in a Roanoke Rapids area school. You'll work onsite 10–12 hours per week from November 2, 2026, through February 26, 2027, conducting assessments, creating plans, and delivering direct therapy to help students achieve goals.

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and staff are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid North Carolina Occupational Therapy license.
• School-based occupational therapy experience is a plus but not required.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with students, staff, and families.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments to identify student therapy needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other therapists to support student progress.
• Track student development and maintain accurate documentation.
• Provide direct therapy services and recommend adaptive strategies for classroom success.
• Share insights and strategies with the school team for enhanced student engagement.
