Job summary

Point Quest Group is seeking a part-time Occupational Therapist to provide school-based services for students in K-12 in Los Angeles. You will conduct assessments and deliver direct therapy aligned with IEP goals, collaborating with teachers, families, and a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications include an active OT license, background clearance, and strong communication skills. Preferred are school-based experience and DOE-related certifications. Benefits and mentorship are provided.

Qualifications

• OT License required.
• DOJ/FBI Live Scan background check and TB clearance.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Preferred: experience in school-based settings; knowledge of EBPs and special education.

Responsibilities

• Conduct formal assessments to determine eligibility and functioning.
• Develop and coordinate treatment plans with interdisciplinary teams.
• Provide direct OT services aligned with IEP goals.
• Complete and maintain IEPs and participate in reviews.
• Consult with teachers and families to support skill generalization.
• Maintain therapy notes, assessment data, and progress docs.
• Supervise and support COTAs and monitor supervision hours if applicable.
