Job summary

RE-1 Valley School District is hiring a Part-Time Occupational Therapist to support students in Kindergarten through 12th grade for the 2026/2027 school year. The role is 0.5 FTE (4 hours per day, 177 days) with benefits not included.

Salary ranges from $25,436 to $37,448 on the Special Service Providers schedule. The OT will provide evaluation, intervention, and consultation services, focusing on motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living skills, aligned with IEPs and IDEA.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy is required.
• Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Colorado is required.
• NBCOT certification is required.
• Prior pediatric or school-based experience is preferred.
• Bilingual skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide evaluation, intervention, and consultation services to students with disabilities in grades K–12.
• Develop and implement therapy interventions aligned with IEP goals.
• Address fine motor, sensory processing, ADLs, and assistive technology needs.
• Collaborate with teachers to implement classroom strategies and train staff on accommodations.
• Communicate with parents/guardians and participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings.
• Maintain accurate documentation and monitor progress toward IEP goals.
