Job summary

Unified School District No. 232 in Mill Creek Middle School is seeking a Student Nutrition Assistant for the 2026-2027 school year. The position supports meal service, food preparation, and sanitation, with a 4.5-hour daily shift from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Starting pay is $15.60 per hour and includes an excellent benefits package. The role requires a TB test, a pre-employment physical, and successful completion of the required safety trainings.

Qualifications

• Current TB test required or within 12 months.
• Must pass strength & agility testing up to 50 pounds.
• Pre-employment physical required before first day.

Responsibilities

• Prepares foods from recipes and instructions.
• Cares for, cleans and stores equipment properly.
• Serves food to students and staff.
• Observes health and sanitation regulations.
• Attends the Food Safety Basics Class as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned by Kitchen Manager.
