Job summary

CESA 6 is seeking a part-time School Nurse Consultant to lead and oversee school nursing services for partner districts. This role reports to the Director, Special Education and Student Services and focuses on collaboration, guidance, and professional development for school nurses.

The consultant will work with agency staff to deliver resources, ensure compliance with health requirements, and support DPI-related activities in school nursing while maintaining confidentiality and professional

Qualifications

• RN licensure and a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Knowledge of state and federal laws related to Special Education.
• CPR/First Aid/AED certification; CPR instructor is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead, direct, advocate, and oversee school nursing services for partnering districts.
• Develop and provide professional development to school nurses.
• Collaborate with staff to support health-related programs and compliance.
