St. Augustine Catholic School in Washington DC is hiring a part-time School Nurse for the 2026-27 school year. This role runs Monday, Wednesday and Friday, from 8am to 4pm, at $25.00 per hour. The position supports health services within the school and collaborates with staff, parents, and students.

The Nurse will provide health services to students, treat medical needs, maintain health records, and promote healthy habits, safety, and compliance with health guidelines.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience.
• RN license in Maryland.
• Experience with diverse age groups.
• Knowledge of CPR, first aid and AED.
• Ability to multi-task and stay calm during emergencies.
• Ability to lift and assist students as needed.

Responsabilidades

• Provide basic health services to students during the school day.
• Dispense medications as prescribed.
• Develop health plans for students with chronic illnesses or disabilities.
• Maintain student health records in compliance with Health Department and Catholic Schools Office.
• Educate students on healthy habits and hygiene.
• Identify health-related barriers to learning and address them.
