Job summary

Saint Ann School in the United States is seeking a caring, dependable Part-Time School Nurse to care for the health and well-being of students during the school day. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–1:00 PM with an hourly compensation the school sets based on experience and qualifications.

The nurse will provide basic care, administer medications, maintain health records, communicate with families, and work closely with teachers, administrators, and health providers to promote a safe school

Qualifications

• RN or LPN license required.
• School nursing or pediatric experience preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic nursing care and first aid to students and staff.
• Assess student health concerns and determine appropriate care.
• Communicate with parents/guardians regarding student health needs.
• Maintain accurate student health and medical records.
• Administer medications and follow school health policies and procedures.
• Monitor students with ongoing health needs and emergency care plans.
• Promote a safe, healthy, and caring school environment.
• Work cooperatively with school administration, teachers, families, and healthcare providers.
