Saint Columbkille Partnership School in Brighton, MA, seeks a part-time School Nurse for the 2026-2027 year. The RN must be licensed in Massachusetts and hold CPR/AED certification. Two days per week (Wednesday and Thursday) with duties in the school health office, medication administration, and care plan management.

The role involves collaboration with parents and staff, immunization record maintenance, and health policy support in a Catholic school context.

Formación

• Massachusetts RN licensure is required.
• Current CPR/AED certification.
• Experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Professionalism and discretion with confidential information.

Responsabilidades

• Create a safe and welcoming environment in the school health office.
• Interact with children in a calm, kind, and nurturing manner.
• Provide first aid and emergency care to students and staff.
• Administer medications as prescribed and maintain records.
• Manage and implement care plans for students with chronic conditions.
• Maintain immunization records and ensure state compliance.
• Implement infection control measures and monitor for communicable diseases.
• Communicate with parents and staff regarding health concerns and recommendations.
• Assist in developing and implementing school health policies.
• Maintain health records and documentation.
• Partner with local organizations to provide health screenings.
• Promote health education among students, staff, and families.
