Job summary

TrulyHired is recruiting a School Nurse for Nauset Regional High School on a 0.4 FTE basis (2 days/week, 7.5 hours per day). The nurse will manage the health office, maintain records, dispense medications, and support students, families, and staff in health initiatives.

Responsibilities include coordinating with local health agencies, supervising immunization and screenings, and ensuring confidentiality and safety in a busy school setting.

Qualifications

• DSEQ Licensed MA School Nurse or ability to obtain within one school year.
• BSN preferred for nursing practice in school settings.
• Experience in pediatric health and school health services is desirable.
• Ability to coordinate between school, local health agencies and resources.
• Strong communication, confidentiality, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage busy health office and maintain health records.
• Dispense medication and assist with health mandates.
• Provide health education and support to families, students, and staff.
• Collaborate with Principal and health staff; ensure student safety.
