Job summary

Upper Moreland Township School District is seeking a Co-Curricular Nurse (Licensed, Non-Certified) at Upper Moreland Middle School to provide nursing services for assigned students in co-curricular activities. The role reports to Athletics & Student Activities Administrator/Director of Special Education.

Responsibilities include maintaining health records, dispensing medications, and serving as liaison with parents and staff.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate orally and in writing.
• Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others.
• Must be able to report to work based on the needs of students.
• Capable of lifting up to 20 pounds as required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain health and nursing records for students.
• Identify health problems and inform staff/admin as needed.
• Dispense prescribed medication and provide health services as directed by a physician.
• Provide first aid, care for accidents and illnesses.
• Complete state required paperwork and reports promptly.
• Serve as liaison between parents and the district on health matters.
• Other duties as assigned by administration.
