Job summary

The Yay Company is seeking a Lunch Coordinator to deliver healthy school lunches with care and a friendly smile. You’ll interact with students, staff, and families while ensuring meals are served accurately and on time.

Ideal candidates are reliable, punctual, and comfortable working 2-4 hours per day (typically 9:30 AM – 1:30 PM), Monday through Friday. A smartphone, valid insurance, and ServSafe certification are required or obtainable soon.

Qualifications

• Strong time management and verbal communication skills.
• Smartphone for job-related communication.
• A reliable personal vehicle with valid proof of insurance.
• ServSafe Food Handler Certification (or willingness to obtain within first 14 days).
• Ability to clear a pre-employment background check and earn additional certifications if required by the school.

Responsibilities

• Deliver fresh, healthy lunches to schools and ensure smooth handoffs.
• Provide excellent customer service and create a positive lunchtime experience.
• Manage daily meal service and deliveries with efficiency and professionalism.
