The Yay Company is seeking a Lunch Coordinator to help get fresh, healthy meals into kids' hands and keep the grab-and-go area inviting. You’ll be the smiling face students look forward to seeing during lunch and will contribute to a fast, upbeat environment.

Ideal candidates are reliable, punctual, and genuinely enjoy being around kids. Must have ServSafe certification or the willingness to obtain it within 14 days, plus a background check and a smartphone for coordination.

Qualifications

• Willing to learn, take direction, and be a real team player.
• Positive attitude and genuine interest in healthy food for kids.
• ServSafe Food Handler Certification (or willingness to get it within your first 14 days)
• Able to pass pre-employment background check and any school-required certifications
• A smartphone for job-related communication
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance

Responsibilities

• Deliver the joy – distribute fresh lunches to students and keep the lunchtime flow smooth and positive
• Be the friendly face – bring warm energy to interactions with students, staff, and parents
• Keep it running – support student checkout, manage grab-and-go display, and keep everything stocked and tidy
• Show up with heart – maintain a positive attitude and reliable communication every shift
