Will County School District 92 in Illinois is seeking General Kitchen Staff for the 2026-27 school year. This part-time role supports school lunch service with hours 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

on school days when lunch is served, at a rate of $15 per hour. The position requires teamwork, reliability, and the ability to work with a diverse school community; requires access to electronic forms and basic computer skills.

Competenze

• Minimum 1 year experience in quantity food service.
• Ability to follow directions and complete tasks on time.
• Knowledge of computers and electronic document handling.
• HS diploma or equivalent highly desired.
• Willing to obtain IDPH sanitation certificate.

Mansioni

• Provides quality food production and service including timely and appropriate documentation.
• Prepares food following recipes, cools, stores and rotates food following Food Code and SOP, Serves food.
• Maintains kitchen and dining areas clean and sanitary.
• Assists students and staff; follows safety and allergy handling guidelines.
• Completes annual training as required by IDPH and district policies.
