Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of a High School diploma
• Able to secure appropriate Health Department Handling Permits as required.
• Participate in provided Professional Development
• Knowledge of/or willingness to learn employee's requirements to comply with safety and health standards, rules, regulations, and orders issued under the MI-OSHA

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute meals in accordance with approved menu and daily demand
• Clean equipment, spaces and utensils when through serving and return to proper area
• Maintain records and reports as directed
• Inventory food items periodically and as directed
• Prepare and distribute meals for meetings, banquets, bazaars, breakfast, luncheons, dinners, etc., as part of extra time
• Ability to report to work on a timely and consistent basis and work extra time as approved
• Performs major cleaning of refrigerators and storerooms on regularly scheduled intervals
